Duromac Homes was founded in 2008 by the husband and wife team of Dumon and Rose. Through the process of raising their family of busy children they have made the Bay of Quinte region home and become active members in the community.
Prior to entering the construction industry Dumon served in the Canadian Forces in both the Navy and the Air Force & was last stationed at CFB Trenton as an Airframe Technician on the CC-130 Hercules aircraft.
Prior to starting Duromac Homes Dumon worked a combination of commercial and residential construction and put plans in motion to start his own business. Dumon’s passion for homebuilding drives him to meet new clients and do custom designs – especially ones that don’t fit the traditional mold of homebuilding.
Rose has worked several years as a construction worker for medium sized builder acquiring a unique skill set in the field. Although not active on the jobsite, she remains a driving force behind keeping projects moving forward and ensuring that all the necessary documentation is ready and prepared. Her understanding of the industry and the processes involved keeps Duromac Homes running smoothly.
A home build is only successful through the thorough application of skill and knowledge – it is a far from easy process. Since it’s founding in 2008 custom homes has been the mainstay of Duromac Homes – applying its onsite and in-office skills towards the successful completion of each project.
The Bay of Quinte region – including Brighton, Belleville, Trenton, Picton and the rest of the County – has been the site of many of Duromac Home’s projects. The first subdivision built by Duromac Homes was in the Brighton area in 2016, completing that project by 2018.
Though they call this region home Duromac Homes has completed a number of successful projects north of Toronto after being sought out by clients based on the companies skill and reputation.
As a small volume builder this allows the company to maintain a focus and hands-on approach with every project – keeping a good grasp on time and materials to ensure a successful finish.
